A new marriage. A new home. A fresh start built entirely from scratch. For Stacey and John, moving to Solstice meant merging two lives into one, right down to the paint colors. Settled into the Stargaze Collection on Holiday Park, they’ve found a place that feels like somewhere they were always meant to call their own.
When did you move to Solstice?
July 2025.
Where were you living before?
Downtown Littleton.
Getting married and moving in around the same time made this home part of a whole new chapter. What has that felt like?
It’s been great. We both had homes separately, so it was nice to get a fresh start together, picking out paint, flooring, and carpet as a couple. It felt good to personalize everything and move into a community that checks all the boxes for us.
What made you want to build this next chapter at Solstice?
The location and being close to the park. It’s a new community, which is hard to find in Littleton, and it’s tucked away in a way that feels different from anywhere else. Even as a planned community, it feels designed well. Like you’re entering somewhere truly special.
Your home sits right on Holiday Park. What’s that like living next to green space?
A game changer. We knew we wanted to back to open space or the park, and now we’re out on our deck nine months a year. We love backing to the green, hearing kids playing in the distance. We even watched the eclipse from our deck.
What stands out to you about Solstice, beyond just the home itself?
The quality is a step above other builders, and we notice it more the longer we live here. The community orientation around the High Line House is a big part of it too. We bought a golf cart so we can ride over for bingo and Friday Night Live.
What has surprised you most about this next chapter?
How easy it’s been to settle in a little further out (from our last home), since Solstice has so much right in the community. And the quality of the build itself. The baseboards, the carpet, all of it was a step above what we expected.
