For Caitlin and Kelly, Solstice started as a place to visit family. Then it became the place where they wanted to build a life. Now settled into the Harmony Collection, just down the way from Kelly’s parents in the Reflection Collection, the Pasekas have found a rhythm of quiet evenings, long walks, and neighbors who show up when it matters.
When did you move to Solstice?
August 2025
Where were you living before?
A condo in Highlands Ranch.
Having family already living at Solstice, did that play a part in your decision to move here?
Absolutely. We spent a lot of time visiting before we moved, which gave us the chance to experience the community for ourselves. We loved the scenic surroundings, the amenities, and the welcoming atmosphere. Seeing how much they enjoyed living there made it easy to picture ourselves calling Solstice home, too.
What first drew you to Solstice and the Harmony Collection?
Solstice didn’t feel like a typical Denver suburb. The scenery, the walking paths for our dog, and the overall sense of peace and quiet made it stand out right away. When we toured the Harmony Collection model homes, we knew it was the perfect fit. We loved the layouts and flexibility, and it felt like a place we could grow into over the years.
What does a typical evening or weekend look like for you here?
We’re homebodies during the week, so most evenings are spent cooking dinner together, enjoying the mountain views from our backyard, and taking our dog for a long walk. On weekends, we like to stay active and hike, and we’ve been lucky to build some great friendships on our street.
What has it meant to have family so close by?
It’s something we don’t take for granted. Whether it’s a quick visit, a shared meal, or a weekend together, it’s made it so much easier to stay connected and be part of each other’s everyday lives, knowing family is just a short walk or golf cart ride away.
What’s a moment since moving in that made this feel like home?
This summer, we were traveling often for family back in Chicago. When we finally returned from one of those trips, so many neighbors stopped by just to say they were happy to see us back. It was such a simple gesture, but it meant so much. With family living so far away, that moment made us realize we had built a community here.
Is there anything else you can share about building your home at Solstice?
What stood out most was how seamless the entire process felt, from selecting our lot to getting the keys. Every team member we worked with was friendly, supportive, and genuinely seemed to have our best interests in mind. We never felt rushed or pressured. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience building our dream home.
